TAST

Each Tuesday, Sharon B of Pin Tangle, will post a challenge / stitch for the week.   Participants will learn the stitch, work up an example (or examples) and put a photo on flickr or blog.   A comment is left on the Pin Tangle post with a link to your challenge picture (& info); what fun to share what you accomplished!

In the information below, there is  link to the TAST information page.   You are welcome to sign up using stitchin fingers page,  flickr album, or your own blog.

If you would like to participate, you don't have your own blog (yet), remember this blog space is open to NANI Members.   You are welcome to put up your pictures, information, and copy the link for Pin Tangle's post.

Take a Stitch Tuesday will begin on January 3rd, 2012.

Erica Wilson

Erica Wilson passed away on December 13.
Her embroidery designs were very popular--she seemed to be everywhere in the 1960s and 1970s. Her teaching, designs, kits, shops and books influenced generations of embroiderers.
I remember wanting to be Erica Wilson when I grew up.

Here's the New York Times article and a post on the DMC blog.
