Erica Wilson

Erica Wilson passed away on December 13.
Her embroidery designs were very popular--she seemed to be everywhere in the 1960s and 1970s. Her teaching, designs, kits, shops and books influenced generations of embroiderers.
I remember wanting to be Erica Wilson when I grew up.

Here's the New York Times article and a post on the DMC blog.
