Feeling Creative???




There will be a gathering at
Renee's home on 

June 28th from 6-9pm



This is for NANI members interested in working on projects
for NANI's participation 
in the Quilter's Plus Boutique (November 2012).
Funds earned will be for Chapter Education.

Bring your --  ideas, projects you plan to donate.   Feel free
to sit down and create with what is on hand.   This time is for
working on boutique or outreach projects.

Renee has gathered supplies and has work space ready
with lighting and tables ... ready to use.

There are 8 luggage tags needing 3x2" motifs ....
There are 12 pint size + 12 4-oz size Ball jars needing pincushion tops ....
There are 12 Silicone cupcake holders needing pincushion tops ....
25+ cards w/envelopes to embellish ....
Many prepared needle books to stitch ....

From NANI stash, stored at Renee's home:
There are remnant evenweave pieces,
14-ct and 18-ct aida.   Pincushion charts.
Threads, bead box, glue sticks, scissors, needles.

Suggested boutique items to sell:   Needle books, pincushions - any shape and size (tart cups, ball jars, cupcake baking cups, small cans), stitched cards, embellished stationery, scissors fobs, gift bag, decorated note pads, luggage/bag tags, beaded items.    

Looking for a smaller number of a variety of items.

Gatherings will be held:   July 26th, Aug 23rd, Sept 27

IMO, one of the nicest features at the EGA Web Site, is the section with photographs and
information about EGA's permanent collection.      The pictures are small + if you are like me, can click on them and ENLARGE across your computer screen.   



I'm currently attempting the Small Basket Sampler, and finding the on-line photo very helpful!   The pattern is great; however, the photo makes stitching much easier.
