Registration deadline is August meeting

September - Canvas – Tequila Sunrise 

by Laura J Perin - 4 ¼” square; 

KarolJ will help us to place beautiful colors to canvas using following stitches: diagonal satin, ray, straight, and Rhodes stars.  Shown in orange/purple; an alternate colorway will be available: blue/peach.

Camp Quality

 

Our Camp Quality Prep Workshop

will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013,

7:00-9:00 p.m.

at the Georgetown Condominiums Clubhouse,

169th and Kline, Hammond, IN.

Volunteers are needed to help make

kits for the tambourines.

 

The Camp itself will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013,

from 8:00 a.m. to Noon

at Camp Manitoqua in Frankfort, Illinois.

Again, volunteers are needed to

help teach the kids how to make the tambourines.

So fun and rewarding!

Band Sampler

The education program at the July 2, 2013

General Meeting of the Needle Artisans

is "Design Your Own Band Sampler."

 

 

Look through your stash and pull out charts,

fibers and patterns that you like.

Look for small motifs and various stitch effects.

Bring a notebook to take notes.

Any member can sit in, but

only those who have signed up and paid the

$4 fee will receive the extensive

color instruction pack.
