September must have been a busy month for our members, because we had lots of beautiful finished projects on display.
We started off with a reveal of our Challenge projects. In January, Challenge participants were given fabric and threads and were instructed to create a stitched piece using only the provided materials. Here are the spectacular results:
Sue P fashioned her Zodiac sign.
Amy P created a box insert.
Diana S created a life sampler.
Marj H designed a biscornu and brought her notes, too!
Pam S and Renee R also did pieces,
but I did not get photos. Sorry, ladies!
For regular Show & Tell, we had:
A darling Halloween decoration from Anne L.
A finish of last month's education project
from Debbie L. Quick and cute!
Another quick and cute finish of the same project by Pam S.
(Did I get them mixed up, ladies?)
A darling stitched piece with a quilt theme
and a lovely hardanger bookmark from Carol L.
Amy P showed this cute finish...
...and brought this stunning piece for the Guild's
exhibit at the upcoming Heritage Quilters show
in Crown Point.
Pat B showed several seasonal smalls.
Chris R had a tree theme going
with three beautiful pieces--this one...
...and this one...
...and this one.
Janet C showed her stunning dragonfly, now framed.
Elaine H brought this lovely piece.
Becky M did two cute Halloween kitties.
Can you spot the difference in the pieces?
Last but not least, Renee R
brought some sweet finished--and almost-finished--
pieces to sell at the upcoming
Quilters Plus Boutique--
more about that in another post.
Kudos to you all!
