February/March Show & Tell

Our members had some lovely finished items that were shown at the February and March meetings; we have a lot of catching up to do.

Here are the items from the February meeting:

Barb P finished the hilariously cute skeleton chefs
and the sweet Valentine bell pull.

Chris R stitched the inspiring Good Marriage sampler...

...and the pretty Spring sampler.

Ruth V had a lovely group of both
crazy quilt and cross stitch pieces.

Pat B showed her wolf piece, a former UFO for almost 13 years.

We had a great turn-out for the March meeting,
and many of our members had been busy.

Barb P showed a cute Easter bell pull
and an adorable Halloween owl

Becky M stitched a pretty cross stitch holiday cardinal...

...and a wonderful, plump canvaswork turkey.

Marge G discovered this rare and old
sampler in a bookstore, of all places.

Alice C stitched this
beautiful spring design.

Janet C knit this amazing
two-tone cowl on her arm!

Marj H took a class in crazy quilting
and created this stunning block.

More from Marj H:
a lovely monochrome cross stitch piece
and two clever 3D pendants.

Renee R stitched this cute redwork Santa.

Renee took the chapter's name tag class,
and created this attractive name tag.

Violet S stitched this darling
Christmas ornament.

Finally, two of the participants
in the 2014 Challenge
brought their finished pieces.
Each stitcher was given the same threads,
a geometric shape to incorporate,
and was instructed to stitch
an original design.

Renee stitched this pretty quilt block design.

Alice C created some winsome
surface embroidery flowers
and a frolicking butterfly.

Ladies, we give you all
a round of applause.

This concludes our Show and Tell.
Until next month, keep stitching!
