This isn't specifically about color in embroidery, but it is about how color affects your life. As you begin to pay more attention to color, you'll notice the colors around you and sometimes see their effects.

Color Theory Workshop
On Saturday, April 18, 2015, the Chapter hosted a color theory workshop at House of Stitches in LaPorte, Indiana.
Marj led the group in an EGA Petite Project called Colorplay,
designed by Erica M. Cannon.
The class project
involved identifying colors in overdyed threads,
and then choosing a
color family that was 'missing'
from the overdyed fibers along with two
adjacent color families.
Members worked on a small project to see how
colors change
when grouped with other colors, or stitched on different
backgrounds.
This is Marj, Linda (owner of House of Stitches) and
Renee, NANI President.
And here are the participants, from left to right:
Amy, Becky, Claudia, Diana, Renee, Marj, Carol and Marge.
Everyone had a great time and learned a lot about color.
There may also have been some stash enhancement going on,
but that is just a rumor!
